Imagine has their own training company. Educators are encouraged and supported to upskill and really grow in their role and progress through the company. All training with Imagine is free for our Educators too.
We also offer school-based traineeships for Years 10, 11 and 12. Once training is completed, you have the opportunity to work as an Educator in one of our amazing services. There are so many opportunities for growth and development. For example, you might choose to study your Diploma with Imagine, and progress through to a Group Leader, Educational Leader, or even an Assistant Director role.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, I am so proud of the Kindergarten Program we have here at Imagine Childcare. We have such close ties with local schools and even schools further away where our children will attend for Prep. We visit the schools for Open Days, talk to the Teachers and the Principals, and really find out from them what their expectations are for the children who will be attending after Kindergarten.
Our Kindergarten Classroom Educators are all a big family. We enjoy setting up the rooms and sharing skills, learning, and experiences with each other. It is so wonderful working with people who share your passions and hold the same values.
I began my School Based Traineeship with Imagine Childcare in 2016, when I was in Year 11 at Southport State High School. Once I completed my Traineeship, I was offered a Casual Float position. From then, I very quickly worked my way up from Float to an Assistant in the Junior Kindy 2 Classroom. Through the support and training that Imagine offers, I grew in confidence and am proud to have been in a position to accept the Lead Educator role in the Pre-Kindy Classroom.
I now have eight years of experience at Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten in Southport. Being a part of the supportive Imagine Childcare team has helped make me so confident in my abilities.
